The Climate

Being surrounded by water, Nova Scotia's climate is regulated by the oceans presence making it quite temperate. This results in a moderately cold winter, usually ranging from -15 Celsius to -4 Celsius. Nova Scotian springs are usually quite cool. The average spring temperatures range from 6 to 15C. Summers usually never get too hot, the average temperature ranges from 16 to 25C and very rarely exceeds 30 degrees.

Nova Scotia is known for its beautiful fall season. Fall is one of the most popular tourist seasons, mainly because of Nova Scotia's spectacular fall colours of the leaves.
